When is Apple going to remove the TV and Movies apps? Apple doesn’t even list them on their website for the Apple TV 4K anymore. Pure laziness and lack of thinking on their part I believe. There has been plenty of time for everyone to get used to where they are now, in the Apple TV app. If the apps are obsolete, get freaking rid of them already Apple!
If anything, they need to bring them back. They're better than the TV app.

Sorry, user experience doesn't matter anymore. The only thing that matters is pushing those TV+ subscriber numbers.

Make the mistake of paying Apple hundreds of dollars in licenses to watch shows without being bombarded by ads? Too bad, it's an ad platform now.

By the way did you know about Apple TV+? Don't worry, just press that "not now" button and we will definitely remind you with another popup ad.

At some point my Apple TV stopped marking shows as watched and the queue seems completely hosed. On top of it, if I'm watching the purchased version of a show … it is defaulting to the Prime version with ads

Don't know what is going on with this platform given how little is supposed to be changing
