I'm thinking the new 17 in. MBP and Mac Pro are going to be geared toward gamers.

That's right. I said "gamers"

WWDC 2019 here we come.
Not a chance, and I don't know why you would think that.

I'm going to hazard a guess the 16" will be in the same form factor as the current 15.4" model, just with slimmer bezels to allow more display area (ala the iPad Pro 10.5 to 11).

The 17" was a powerhouse and stable workhorse in it's day and when it got cut and we saw the top size go down to 15", that was a bad day. Ming speculates and everyone falls over themselves to the positive or whatever. But, if a 16" did eventuate, that would be a great thing.

Pure curiosity here, but why long for a small phone?
There are actually some of us who feel that the phones in the current lineup are simply too large. Personally, I bought an iPhone SE when it was discontinued to replace my 5s, just to be able to stay with the same form-factor. For me, I think that the best phone-related announcement would be a metal-back iPhone SE case-sized phone with an edge-to-edge display, i.e. something compact which doesn’t break when I put it down.

* 2019 iPhones Can Wirelessly Charge Other Devices, Feature Frosted Glass and Larger Batteries, and More
These phones sound great, but I've gotta admit, when I hear "frosted glass," I get flashbacks of Vista's Aero theme.

I'm—I'm sure Apple can pull it off though…
